Loving the Game of Blackjack

In the casino, one of the simplest card games that many players love to play is blackjack. It is one type of card game that demands a lot of skills and strategies in order to win, and for this reason, blackjack is one of the favorite game in the casino.

Blackjack saw its birth in the casinos in France in the early part of the year 1700. It was then called the 'Vingt-et un" which means twenty and one. Today it is being known as blackjack because of blackjack basic special feature that extra payout shall be awarded to a gambler that has a Jack of Spade and an Ace of Spade being the vital cards, and we all know that they are black in color, hence this card game is now known to be blackjack.

The basic objective of blackjack is to have a hand of cards with a total value of twenty one as much as possible with out having to bust, (meaning to get over 21 ). The numbered cards have their values equal to the number they represent. However, the face cards such as the Jack, King, and Queen, have the same value of 10 each, and the Ace card has a value of either 1 or 11. The winner is being recognized if his cards ' value is closest to twenty one without being busted. The winner includes both the player and the dealer. Here is the basic steps in playing blackjack;

a) The players places their bet.

b) The dealer then will deal out two cards to the players face up and a card to himself

c) After this the dealer will get another card for himself , (this is his second card) and put it face down.

d) The dealer will ask the players if they will ask for another card (this is called a 'hit'). He may do this as many times as he wants if his card value is 15 or less, depending on his gaming strategy.

e) However if a player bust, the casino wins. If the player stops from hitting without being busted, then the dealer will reveal his two cards.

f) If the value of the dealer's card has a blackjack, then the house (casino) wins. On the other hand if the dealer goes over twenty one , the player wins.

This is the basic game of blackjack. A simple card game yet, it can give one big winnings.
